My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The highlight was the cleanliness and the spacious suite, but that was overshadowed by the poor dining experience and the noise from large tour groups. While I appreciated the cheese platter I ordered, the main courses were underwhelming and the setup with loud neighbors made for an uncomfortable night. Overall, it was a mix of good and bad, leaning more towards the negatives.

Rooms

The one-bedroom suite was very clean and spacious, but there were inconvenient stairs to navigate from the parking area.
Service
6.0
The service was good but not exceptional, as my dining experience fell short of expectations.

Dining was average; the soup was okay, but the chicken was bland and the fries were barely warm. However, the cheese platter was impressively large and worth trying.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had basic amenities, but the structural layout made access to rooms somewhat awkward.

The hotel provided a comfortable and well-appointed suite with great views, although the overall appearance felt a bit tired. Parking was inconvenient, and the dining area could benefit from some updates. While the service was mostly fine, I had a horrendous experience with room service which I wouldn't recommend. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but there are a few areas that could be improved.

The suite was well-appointed, comfortable, and had a great view, although my initial room did not offer the promised mountain view.
Service

Service was varied; while the receptionist was fine, my experience with room service was disappointing, particularly with the pizza I ordered.
Location

The hotel is ideally situated between Queenstown and Christchurch, making it a good base for exploring the area.
Dining

While we had nice meals and coffee in the restaurant, it felt a bit dated and could use a revamp.
Facilities

The facilities were decent but the parking situation was frustrating, especially during busy times.

The resort offers stunning views of Lake Tekapo, and the convenience of nearby eateries and a supermarket is a definite plus. While we enjoyed a great breakfast view, the cramped 'transit' room we stayed in wasn't ideal for our comfort. Overall, it has a lot of potential if you can snag a better room with a view.

We had a cramped 'transit' room which lacked the space we would have preferred. It didn't feel very comfortable for our stay.

Breakfast with a lake view was a highlight, but we didn't get to experience it fully since our room was less than ideal.

The hotel has a picturesque location by the lake, providing stunning views and a comfortable stay. However, the rooms are in need of an update and the service could be more attentive. While I enjoyed my unit's view, the cleanliness and maintenance were concerning. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, making it frustrating to manage my online tasks during my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had a lovely view of the lake, but it was quite small and showing signs of age. The bathroom was spacious, but overall, the room needed a refresh.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, the service could be improved as I felt brushed off during checkout when I raised my concerns.
Location

The hotel's location was beautiful, right next to the lake, which offered picturesque views and easy access to local attractions.

The facilities were lacking in terms of parking and Wi-Fi access, as I had to keep re-entering my password.
