Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The highlight was the cleanliness and the spacious suite, but that was overshadowed by the poor dining experience and the noise from large tour groups. While I appreciated the cheese platter I ordered, the main courses were underwhelming and the setup with loud neighbors made for an uncomfortable night. Overall, it was a mix of good and bad, leaning more towards the negatives.
The hotel provided a comfortable and well-appointed suite with great views, although the overall appearance felt a bit tired. Parking was inconvenient, and the dining area could benefit from some updates. While the service was mostly fine, I had a horrendous experience with room service which I wouldn't recommend. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but there are a few areas that could be improved.
The resort offers stunning views of Lake Tekapo, and the convenience of nearby eateries and a supermarket is a definite plus. While we enjoyed a great breakfast view, the cramped 'transit' room we stayed in wasn't ideal for our comfort. Overall, it has a lot of potential if you can snag a better room with a view.
The hotel has a picturesque location by the lake, providing stunning views and a comfortable stay. However, the rooms are in need of an update and the service could be more attentive. While I enjoyed my unit's view, the cleanliness and maintenance were concerning. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, making it frustrating to manage my online tasks during my stay.
